Today we spoke about the last assessment and how we can retake the assessment. I have added some codes to the grade book so you understand what I mean:
-M: Missing. This is when the students was either absent the day the assessment was given or never turned in the assignment. Students have until the end of the quarter to turn it in or it will be replaced with a zero.
-I: Incomplete. Here is when the student partially completed an assignment. They also have until the end of the quarter to complete the assignment or they will get a zero.
-E: The student is exempted for the assessment or assignment. Nothing needs to be done after this.
-R: Retake. This is when the student assessment's grade is very much below mastery and the student needs to come to me and set a time aside for tutoring and retake. THEIR WILL BE NO RETAKE WITHOUT TUTORING OR IF A STUDENT DOESN'T COMPLETE THEIR WORK IN CLASS.
Please, look at your Power School site and email if you have any questions.
