Sorry it took so long today!!! Here are the notes 6th grade: Today we continued talking about the seasons and we talk how when it is one season here, it is another one in South America. We also review vocabulary through ¡5 segundos! HW: Cambridge class: Complete the pages 13 and 14 of the packet.
7th grade: Today and tomorrow the students will be working on their presentation of MI FAMILIA. Make sure that they are following the instructions correctly. They are all here on the blog. Look on this past Monday for all the information.
8th grade: Didn't see them today. Sorry! 6th grade: Today we continued learning about the months of the year, the seasons and how to tell the date in Spanish. HW: 2nd, 6th, 7th period: Study for the quiz on Mexico, Spain, Guatemala, El Salvador tomorrow.
7th period: Today the students had a quiz on TIME. Students also learned how to say if they like something. Students will continue working on the project tomorrow in class. HW: Continue working on the project. Do your flashcards on adjectives for tomorrow.
8th grade: Similar to 7th, students also had a quiz on time. Students studied the use of the verb gustar and how "it does not mean TO LIKE". HW: Continue working on the project. I will not see them tomorrow, so work on the project at home.
6th grader: Today we continued studying vcabulary food via GAME (Pop-up!) and we review the information on México, El Salvador, Guatemala, España. We also learned about Spain through MI VIDA LOCA, an interacitve video. Finally we learned the months of the year and how to write the date. HW: Find the following dates and write them up: –Idependence day –Christmas –New Years Eve –Your birthday –St Patrick’s Day
7th grade: Today we practiced the time with 5 SEGUNDOS. We reviewed the adjectives and how they work in Spanish and finally we worked on our projects in class. HW: Continue working on the project. Make a set of flashcards with the adjectives for Thursday and study for time QUIZ tomorrow!!
8th grade: Today we studied for the time quiz tomorrow. We practiced with 5 segundos. We also reviewed part of the adjectives and the verb tener. We finally worked on projects. HW: Continue orking on your project. make a set of flashcards by tomorrow with the adjectives. and sudy for TIME QUIZ!!!
6th graders: Today we practiced vocabulary playing a game. For 7th period: Today we studied vocabulary words: "el papá está enojado", "la familia", "el lobo", "come", "llora", "está triste". HW: Study vocabulary (food) and information about Mexico, El Salvador, Spain and Guatemala. QUIZ on 09.27 Cultural: Mexico, Spain, Guatemala and El Salvador. 7th grader: Today we studied the adjectives and how to use them in Spanish. HW: Create a set of flashcards with adjectives by Thursday. QUIZ ON TIME Wed. Begin working on your Project: MI FAMILIA. Tomorrow we will work in class.
8th grade: Today we spoke also about adjectives and the project for monday Oct. 1st. HW: Study for QUIZ on TIME this Wed. Begin working on your project. Make a set of flashcards for adjectives by Thursday.
PROJECT EXAMPLE AND INSTRUCTIONS: These are examples of a written project and the spoken project. For the written project, remember that you cannot repeat the same adjective in the descriptions. Also, if you don't have the PPT with images for the speaking presentation, this doesn't mean that you don't get to present, it just means that you don't have a visual AID, YOU GET TO PRESENT AY WAY! These are exmples and you can present in another format: Animation, video, etc... As long as you are NOT READING...
6th grade: Today we practiced via games all of our vocabulary and the numbers.
7th grade: We corrected the HW on time and we continued learning about time.
8th grade: Today we continued practicing on how to tell time.
6th grade: Today we review numbers and culture through games. We also learned the days of the week.
7th grade: Students learned on how to tell time in Spanish and practiced through FICHAS!! HW: Complete the packet on time and numbers.
8th: Students continued studying about telling time and we practiced with the completion of the HW.
6th grade: Today we revised the answer of the HW packet and then we reviewed numbers from 0-100.Students play a card game to practice telling numbers. HW: None today, but study the vocabulary...
7th grade: Today we begun and reviewed the 4 basic questions and how to tell time. We practiced speaking creating short dialogues. HW: None today...
8th grade: Students worked on how to tell time in Spanish and all the different ways in which we tell time across the Spanish speaking world. HW: CP practice on time and unit concepts pages 7 and 8
6th graders: Today we finished our presentation and we studied about Guatemala. HW: Complete the packet for unit 4 by tomorrow. You don't need to do point 5, unless you want to.
7th grade: After practicing the numbers through the correction of the HW and the card game, students took the quiz. HW: None
8th grade: Same as 7th, students finished practicing and took their quiz on numbers.
6th grade: Today we worked on the presentations. With 2nd period we studied about Guatemala and its roots. HW: If you haven't presented, come tomorrow ready to present in class. 2nd period: Complete the packet about "La cortesía" and Guatemala. 7th grade: Today we revised the numbers from 0-1000. We are having the re-test tomorrow. HW: STUDY THE NUMBERS 0-1000 IN SPANISH. Do the HW as practice. We will revise the answers for Fichas.
