8th grade: Students worked on how to tell time in Spanish and all the different ways in which we tell time across the Spanish speaking world. HW: CP practice on time and unit concepts pages 7 and 8
6th graders: Today we finished our presentation and we studied about Guatemala. HW: Complete the packet for unit 4 by tomorrow. You don't need to do point 5, unless you want to.
7th grade: After practicing the numbers through the correction of the HW and the card game, students took the quiz. HW: None
8th grade: Same as 7th, students finished practicing and took their quiz on numbers.
6th grade: Today we worked on the presentations. With 2nd period we studied about Guatemala and its roots. HW: If you haven't presented, come tomorrow ready to present in class. 2nd period: Complete the packet about "La cortesía" and Guatemala. 7th grade: Today we revised the numbers from 0-1000. We are having the re-test tomorrow. HW: STUDY THE NUMBERS 0-1000 IN SPANISH. Do the HW as practice. We will revise the answers for Fichas. 6th grader: Today the students had their last day to work in class on their speaking and menu project. If you are still not sure what to do, I am posting a WORD document with it.

We also revised the 4 basic questions and how to tell time.
HW: Write an essay where you explain a plan on how you are going to study and improve your study skills. I need a one page double spaced, either typed or hand written. 8th: Students in this class also had their re-take of their verb SER. We also talked about the four basic questions.\ HW: Study the numbers. We will review them on Monday. FOR ALL PARENTS: Thank you for those who came to curriculum night. 6th graders: Tomorrow there will be no presentations, just continue practicing and writing. 7th and 8th: STUDY FOR VERB SER 6th grade: Today the students work on their project/dialogue on how to order in a restaurant. We will continue to work in class for the next two days. HW: Just finish your flashcards and continue working on your dialogue. Remember that the day of the presentation you can bring props!!!

7th grade: Today we did some practice on numbers, greetings and farewells and the verb SER. We are going to review the verb SER all day tomorrow. HW: Complete the packet of articles and the verb SER by Friday. A reminder: Test on 08/31!!!
8th grade: Today we reviewed some of the material for the test on Friday. We studied the verb SER and the conjugation of the verb in the present tense.
6th grade: Today we had a little review and we spoke about money and how to ask for the price of something. We practiced with the information about El Salvador. Finally we spoke about names in Latin America and their heritage. HW: Study for test this Thursday. Look for a Spansih name that you like and bring it. Make sure to bring a couple of them to choose so nobody else has the same name.
7th grade: Today we also practiced for the test on Firday. We continued studying about the verb SER, or to BE. HW: Study for the test on Friday.
8th grade: We continued studying the differences between definite and indefinite articles. We check the HW and we read about the articles and their use.
